Hey guys,

Finished up my bagpiper and wanted to share him with you. I see in the pictures a few areas that need a little tweaking but I am taking care of them now. I hope you like it. I had fun with him and now I can try to figure out what's next?

thanks,

Joe

PS I do this to all my highlanders and I use real dirt from Culloden for the groundwork and the bush in his cap came straight from the battle site. ;) don't tell anyone though!

Hello Joe,

Well that's a mighty fine bonny lad!

I particularly appreciate how you use the tartan to accentuate the swing of the kilt and the wind blown effect. No doubt that the Culloden dust and flora added some 'magic' to the figure. ;)

Best of luck in Boston!

Cheers,
Q.

Joe,

You did a superb job on this one. I think I will go home and find a box to put over mine now! How was the casting to work with? Mine was the worst Andrea product I have ever encountered.

Well Joe,

To be honoust. My breath was stopping when i see this.
I have no more words. My girlfriend have seen it to. She said. Marc, you better go playing chess then painting figures. This man really can paint a figure.

Awesome Joe, just Awesome.

I agree with all the previous comments. This is one of the best overall jobs I've ever seen, especially on this little figure. I had no problems with the casting on mine, but I will have problems with painting it now. I might have to resort to putting a box over it, as was previously mentioned.

There is real character in the face, and the plaids are excellent. I don't see how it could be done better.
