Historex horses

Been a long time since I done one of these ,
whats the score re shimming out a bit and with what gauge of plastic card

I usually use one of the Historex bases between the horse halves (they're about 3/32 thick from memory Ron)

Hi Ron

I was just looking in some books I have by Bill Horan and Bill Ottinger,Bill Ottinger suggests either a 1/16th or 3/32nd of an inch plasticard or about the thickness of a Historex plastic base depending on how bulky you want the horse.

Bill Horan uses the old Airfix multipose plastic figure bases,cut and sanded to shape,here's some pictures from his book Military Modeling Masterclass
