Being a bear of very little brain, technically speaking, can anyone give me a guide on "How to" if I want to post up photos of my figures ? I have several in folders in Jpg format, and the site requests a URL reference. Is this the same thing ,or do I need to arrange something else? I'm able to send pictures via e-mails in the usual way, but transferring them to a post on PF eludes me. SWMBO, bless her, is also at a loss.
I am very concious of the fact that I haven't posted any of my models, older or new, so any assistance would be much appreciated.

Cheers, chaps,
Alan

Alan, under the box where you type your messages next to the Post Reply button there's one with upload file, click on that and it will open another window for you to choose a file from your computer.
Does that make sense? If not I can talk you through it.

Hi Alan.....1) Go to your chosen Sub Forum....i.e. Completed Figures and choose create new thread....as you would have done to post this question ;)
2) You will see the 'Upload a File' button in the lower right....and click on it....when the window opens...select your file location...and choose the pic as you would to send an e-mail attachment....
3) Select the 'thumbnail' option....you can upload multiple pics at one time.....
I always choose the 'preview' option before posting....so you can make any corrections....then click create thread.....job done (y)
