The attached photos represent my work in progress on a vignette set in the Normandy Bocage. These are two of the figures that will be included in the vignette, both sculpted by Jeff Shiu. More to come in the future...

Hi, Todd,

All of the black leather - boots, belt and shoulder straps are painted the same way. First I paint a base coat of a dark earthy brown shade, followed by a thin coat (wash) of black. Then I highlighted the edges with dark flesh. With the boots, this took the form of dry brushing with the dark flesh shade - more on the toes and heels. Once these figures are mounted on their base, I’ll use pigments to dust them up some more.
