Didn't take too long on this project, there is a think a nice simplicity to the uniform, yes full dress would be magnificent but not something I'd like to attempt in this scale. All done in acrylics on a plastic dolly figure with a Magicsculpt uniform, Hornet head and Historex sword.

Thanks all for your interest as I've been painting him

Very nice. A striking uniform, superb pose (full of character) and very nicely painted. Plus a completely unique subject. A belter all round in my view, well done.

Many thanks indeed Nigel, got to admit I do like the unusual subjects. It being a figure of a Spanish hussar and how Spanish firms and painters stand proud in this hobby it's curious why there aren't many more Spanish figures doing the rounds. I will do more in the future.

Thanks Mario, yes since I started making my own a few years ago I have over 50 of these in my cabinet. Not all as well done, they clearly show the learning curve.

Great work again mate. Wow
And for one you didn't plough alot of time into it's even more impressive. Excellent addition to the cabinet.

Cheers Rocco, it surprised me how quick he was actually, starting to think I should have done more. He's in the cabinet now so I'll live with it.

Cheers Simon
