Oooh I'd definitely be up for some of those Oda

One of my club-mates bought a couple of these sets along last week so I had a good close look at them (USAAF aircrew and the tankers) The quality is fabulous given they are injection moulding and mass produced. The faces on the aircrew are individual and I'd be quite happy using them for scratchbuilding. Proper eyes sculpted rather than just the slits that you sometimes see - they really are that good. Cost about £3 a figure which is an absolute bargain if you are interested in this period.

Imagine you could get a box only instead of three or four pilots,the box contains four vikings.In high quality plastic that can easily be cut,sanded,modified with individual faces and for the price you mentioned.To me it makes all the sense in the world.Let's see if companies like ICM are up to the task.
