I colored my wheats yesterday Came out ok, I think. Looks better than before. Thx for pointing it out FeR. Will make some pics soon and upload them here.

believe that there will be some of these cossacks at the Scale Model Challenge, isn't it?

Ok, so here's what it looks like all done. Wheat was washed with heavily diluted Vallejo paint. Some dark brownish with graduate more yellow towards the top.
Some pigments for dusting the groundwork and a bit of the boots to pull everything together.

By the way: it won gold in a figure competition last Saturday. Beginners level, but that's where I stand as a figure painter. Certainly with acrylics.
