Hi guys,

I was searching the attic at my parent's at the weekend, looking for the pic of Albert Leadley (still searching!) when I located my photo of my granddad from my mum's side of the family.

As the title suggests, this was taken in Shanghai, 1927. The officer on the front row wears the same uniform as the recent Tommy's War bust, so could be useful reference, note the dark shirt!

My granddad is sixth from the left, next to the tall one on the back row!

Thanks for looking in,

Steve(y)

Great photo Steve.

I bet, Don - I once asked why my granddad was stationed there, but he only said that they were protecting the Russian ships and sailors - I have been unable to research further, annoyingly!
