iOS 8 on iPad/iphone

Just upgraded yesterday and am not so happy... On my iPad the 'browse bar' in Safari hides all the time, meaning I have to do two taps instead of one to go back or forward. Anyone know if this feature can be switched off?
It's just a minor annoyance, but it worked perfectly before...why change this?.... sigh.

And is anyone else having the feeling that the touch screen is a bit less responsive?
Or do I have too much Milliput left on my fingertips....?

Adrian. I think its slower too and my drops the internet connection everytime i close it. There are more than a few irritants that needd sorting I expect they will sort it out some day but their focus is always going to be in the phone side to remain cutting edge and popular for our kids, even though we often get stuck paying for their toys

I am having the same problem with the browse bar and the screen sensitivity. I find find I have to zoom in on an item to click on it. I am very frustrated.

More frustrated now..... Selecting, cutting and pasting text in a PF post is very very hard now, as the menu only appears for just about 1 millisecond or so.

This sucks, with such upgrades I prefer downgrades.....
