Back in the early 90's I walked away from this area of building/painting. I saw the Pegaso Pirate girl a few weeks ago and bought her. So here's my first figure in decades. Hope you like it. Not the greatest photo, but I want to show someone my work. Here at home or work, the only comment I get is about her breast....

Pretty nice work for being away for a decade. I really like the skin tones, Nice transitions. I also like the leathers. And last but not least I do like the breast!

Well, I can see why others, not the Planeteers here, who see the Pirate Woman
in real time, comment "the way they do". You have done such a beautiful
job on painting this bust. All of the flesh tones look so real. Even the
anatonical parts.

And that is so hard to do. Really a beautiful job. And those eyes
are so compelling.

Firstly, I thank all of you for your comments!
I wanted a darker skin so I used White, yellow ochre,Venetian red, burnt sienna with Ultramarine blue/burnt umber for dark shadows. I airbrush with two light/dark skintones first(acyrlics) over Tamiya fine white primer, then overpaint with oils.

I wouldn't mine sharing it but it would likely dry out before it got to you.

Oh Janne, so young, so lost....LOL! Just kiddin', this is a fantastic bust from Pegaso in their typical 200mm. A fantastic piece, and might I add, a very commendable paint job as well! Jack, you haven't missed a beat in your years off. Great colors, the flesh on the face is subtle and well blended, and oils, I'm proud of ya! That from another oils guy. Oh, and yes, an impressive breast, that is well painted as well. Would love a few more angles of her if you have them to post. Welcome back, do share more as you move forward!!

As a fellow oiler I'd say Spot On! Love the smooth transitions and tones, makes her look very enticing, which is the point of the Bust. All the features are outstanding and pretty impressive for being away for so long. I recon it’s like riding a bike, ya never really forget do ya? Oilers ROCK!
