Hi Guys ,

Those that know of me might realise I have a really good modelling mate in Jim Evans ...well known person who adds legs to busts .......and he is rather good at it as I am sure you have seen .

Inbetween biscuit eating he also does a "few" things for the best looking bloke on PF ...me

So I thought I would share some of them just to show my gratitude.....................and yes Jimbo I have lots of idea's..so be afraid young man

This is from MMM and James has added an arm around the young lady WIP 1.jpgWIP 2.jpg
This is the colour from MMM again (finial and cords added .....and YES I have snapped it of ...twice !!!)

Next we have bust from El Greco ...helmet added WIP 3.jpg ..love this one ...definately in line for the kolinsky

Next we have a bust from Blaber Miniatures :WIP 4.jpg cap altered and belts added
Then we have a bit of a bigger addition from Elan 13WIP 5.jpg ..based on this pictureWIP 7.jpg

Then we have a crossbow WIP 12.jpg ..this is destined for the Elan13 Medieval bust ...currently being painted

Finally we have another from MMM heavily converted and currently on the bench (with others!!!) WIP 10.jpg

Also on the bench based on a picture is this using just a Verlinden head ...and lots of swearing WIP 11.jpg

So there you have it just a couple of things Jim has done for me (and believe me there are more ..am I a lucky guy or what .... ..

Great display of Jim's work in one episode.
You may not be the best looking bloke on pF but you are the luckiest Kevin........and he keeps you in biscuits.
Thank you to you both, your antics are legendary.

You could always post me a couple through the post. I have a weakness for chocolate digestives and it gets lonely at my workbench all by myself. :(

Quite a few years ago, I modelled a crossbow similar to the one in your picture, to go with a 90mm figure, when you press the trigger leever, the knut can revolve. The trouble was that, 1 I couldn't find any springs small enough to make it really work, and 2 you might be able to bend a crossbow prod cast in pewter, but the damn thing won't spring back again! Such are the problems for the compulsive pedant!
Best wishes, Gary.
P.S. one of these years I'll decide on a figure to put it on.
