Hello Planeteers:

This is a first time to post a figure, Is a Japanese Paratrooper, from Fine Molds in 1/35 scale. The first time I did it was 6 or 7 years ago and I made it more or less thus:

But, recently, I dusted off the same figure and I don't like it, and I decide to change the original head for one of Asian Head set of Hornet (HH07).

I modified, first cutting off the metal helmet from orginal figure an hollow it with hand electric drill.

I cut it off the top of head and modeled w/epoxy putty the helmet harness. I put an Aber PE as chinstrap buckle.

Then, I glued and primed the head's parts:

Then, I painted all again, with Vallejo, Andrea, Decoart and Duncan Acrilycs, except the metal parts that are painted w/Model Master enamels.

The photos are not so good (I think so?) but, well, I'm learning with my new camera!!!

Cheers!!

Good work dude. It's good to see that more and more people are using acrylics.
Seriously though, it's a nice looking figure and one of a subject you don't see a lot of. Hope to see more of your work here on pF. Take care.

Thanks, Charlie Massuh!!
