Hello,

like to show you my latest little projekt of a Japanese sniper climbing up a palm tree to a better shooting position somewhere in the Pacific jungle
Idea is from a drawing I found in the net, then with some limbs and hands from my spares and a bit Magic Sculp here and there.
Painted all with acrylics
Hope you like it!

Hope it says sniper in japanese :)

One for the album...

Nope.... can't see him ;)
Kidding aside what a great piece of modelling. Really tells a story in an original way.
Great work throughout, figure, setting, base.
If I can make a wee observation ..... a thin darker line down the stem of each palm frond with little 'flicks' out to each 'leaf'
will really enhance the effect.
Cheers
Derek

You keep coming up with original ideas and this one definitely is. Great idea and execution!

I also like the leaves sticking out of the base to indicate he is already quite high up the tree.

Cheers,
Adrian

Thank you guys for your nice replies :happy::happy::happy:

@Derek; Hmm, see what I can do...:cool:
@Samson; Yes, made everything myself (except the head, hands and equipment :D) inlc.the base. Made from old firewood :)wideyed:) , then cut to size. The nameplate I made on my PC.
@Rick; Yes, it's 1:35th scale; forgot to mention...:sorry:

Thanks again

Erik

Every now and again someone comes up with a novel approach to model making and we all think...
Doh....... why didn't I think of that !

This is one of those times.

A great and original idea, super execution and presentation.

I would love to say well done to you

Well done sir :)

Paul
