Dear Friends of Planet
This is my last Scratch created for a collector....... the painting is realized from Emiliano Iacobacci.... one dear friend and one best Painter with leathers lately we collaborate to the realization for the only pieces .

The Subject is a French Commander of the Courassier
" Jean Louis Brigitte Espagne".......
... of which under I have inserted of Historical notes....

Well estimated as one of the best cavalry commanders of the French Army, Jean Louis Brigitte Espagne born at Auch ( Gers Department) on February, 18 of 1769. Engaged on 1787 in the Queen Dragoons regiment, maréchal des logis in 1792 and second lieutenant on august 1792 passing at the 6th Chasseurs. In the same year passed in the 7th Hussars and became captain, then lieutenant colonel. Engaged in the Armée des Pyrénées Occidentales in 1793, next year adc of general Alexandre Dumas in the Armée des Alpes. After serving in different Armées, he entered in the staff of Marshal Jourdan in the Army of Sambre et Meuse. Promoted general de brigade on 1799 and general de division on February 1805. Commander of the 4th division, he fought in the Italy’s campaign at San Michele, Caldiero and Gradisca. Commanding a cavalry division in the 8th Corp under Marshal Massena, he followed his chief at Naples, fighting and winning the famous bandit Fra Diavolo near Frosinone. Commanding the 3rd division of Cuirassiers in November 1808, he served under Marshal Lefebvre at Dantzig, and Marshal Murat in the Germany campaign. Blessed at Heilsberg on june, 10 of 1807, grand officier of Legion d’Honneur next month. Count of the Empire April 1808. Commanding a cuirassiers division under Mashal Davout on October 1808, then the 3rd cuirassiers division under Marshal Lannes in Germany on 1809. Blessed by a rifle shot charging with his men during the Essling battle on May, died on May, 21 of 1809.

What can I say?..... Simplify amazing......You capture very dinamic moment...and you admit with me that is very difficult....
