Here's my latest conversion. He is Jerome Bonaparte as King of Westphalia. It was inspired by
a print beautifully done by Jean-Claude Colrat. It is a Historex conversion using twisted wire for the
fringe, and a little Magic Sculpt. All painting done in acrylics. Comments are welcome and thanks
for looking.

Thanks Jason, Mat, Ron and Pedro for your kind words. It was fun and at times a very challenging project. Glad you like him. Jason, good to see you again in Chicago! Your work is always an inspiration. Pedro, Everything is well, thank you
for asking. Mat, Historex is great medium to work with! Not as hard as it may look. Thanks again guys.

Thanks to all for the kind words! Filipe, I used a Historex resin head. Kevin, yes no metallics on the helmet and breastplate. Just various yellow tones. Alan, the fringe work was very tedious! A lot of words used under my breath during this process! Keep at it. It will be worth it.
Thanks again guys.

Thanks Chris, Mike and Jay for your comments. Jay the fringe is made from 0.10 mm soft lead wire that is used for fly fishing. I take 3 strands and put them into a drill.
Using a low setting the wire is twisted together. You might have to hand twist a little to get it right. Then just cut to length and apply with Krazy glue. Prime and paint.
I have to admit it is a very time consuming process . You have to be patient. I hope this helps.
