Hi folks,
I've been painting figures for over 25 years now, and it was November last year when I suddenly wanted to get a figure made for me that I really wanted to paint. And then I thought I couldn't possibly afford to do that as a one off! So, with that in mind (and after numerous conversations with folk) I decided to work on it as a project. Commission a sculpt, get it cast in enough amounts so I can sell enough of them to cover the costs.
And then I thought...well, there's lots of stuff I'd like to get made up. And so JoeK Minis was born, and I'm now looking to see if a range of figures is possible.
I'm please to say that the first one is up and running and available to buy from my little place on the web - http://www.joekminis.com . It's sculpted by Kul Asyrk, and I bloody love it and I hope you do too! It's limited to 300 on general release, and cast in high-quality resin. £11 (plus £2 postage world-wide).
Here's a shot of the final production figure:
And a shot of the original green:
More shots on the web-site.
Thanks for looking
Joe.
