Tony, I'm sure you've done a good job on this one but seriously mate you just can't tell from these pics.
These pics don't do the work any justice at all. Knowing as I do, what you can do with paint, I'm sure the piece looks alot better than these pictures suggest......sorry for the brutal appraisal but Marc's right something's wrong there.

Might just be my weary, old (but still captivating) eyes cos everyone else seems to see it ok.

Thanks very much for your comments guys.

Marc & Mark, I need and appreciate honest appraisal, so I thank you both. I feel confident in saying than my photographic skills are letting my painting skills down.

I know that feeling all to well Tony.

Hi guys,

More or less finished now. To be honest it's not my best effort, but that's not the fault of the figure. I just didn't have all my juices flowing on this one. Time to move on to the next one, more Romans. This time Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo from the miniseries "Rome".

In the meantime Caesar can take his place in my display cabinet, and wait for the day when I decide to have another go at him. Or not...

Here are the latest pics. Thanks to everyone for your comments.

I think you're being over critical Tony. Looks a good job to me.
Looks forwards to the next offerings, I've got Pegaso's Primus Pilus on the go at the moment.
Carl.
