Hi all,
Just got back from Euro,What a weekend
Met up with a number of great and talented people
from this site.
The U-boat Guy did not win anythingbut I could not be dissappointed as the company from this site more than made up for it.
Maybe I as I get older I realise that friendships
made holds more value than chasing medals when I hit the standard
then I am sure the medals will follow or not (Euro is a tough show)

Gentlemen it was a pleasure to meet you all
and enjoy your company

Not to detract from "Euro-Talk" but Frank, I couldn't agree with you more. That's what a major - if not the most important - part of going to shows is all about - the friendships. You also have a golden opportunity to learn from others as well .... oh, and I hear there are displays to see :)

Likewise. ;)
I hereby attest to the fact that you guys ARE indeed gentle people  . Let's have a real Pf party next year on the saturday evening !

Pete,
The figures and dioramas were terrific and being able to talk with their creators was a great experience.
Just hope I can remember all the hints and tips I picked up

All adds to improvement.

Frank

To tired to report fully, but it was great fun! Putting names to faces, drinking, sharing tips and experiences; I nearly forgot to shop!!

Like Frank none of my pieces placed, but there were some medals awarded to PF members, and well deserved they were!

Personally I thought it was a rather good Euro Militaire, and I heard traders saying they did good business - so I guess it was a success.

Did any of you take pictures of that astronaut figure ? Gosh, that was great - whoever did it, he succeeded in ACTUALLY PAINTING A SHADOW on the groundwork ... !!??!! I couldn't believe my eyes !

Roger

I started to take pictures, but my camera started to pack up and give me problems

Quang got a not complete group shot and went and took some pics of a few entries.

I'm sure we'll get some pics soon

Rob

HI All

Well its over for another year but did I enjoy myself, I SURELY did, I got to meet a load of members from here and had an enjoyable drink in the Bar with them, Quang has pics, One of teh truly nice things about the drink was I talked modelling with people from I think 4 different countries which is kewl.

The main opinion being its like having all you guys in here ( the modelling room ) with me if we post pics we get a good clean concise opnion, what more could we ask for.

The show was good and with what Pegaso fetched to show us well the large scale templar knight is outta this world though a Tad over my budget cos of the other stuff I wanted to get, maybe later in the year. The guys from PF did well with medals I think Jaume got something with everything he entered, gorgeous they were too, the standard was so high in the competition.

I am sure the other guys will fill you in more as the day goes on.

Aboce all I have to agree, meeting and making friendships was the best thing this weekend.

All the best to all

Robin

...and now, ZE pic.

Heh Heh!

I remember that! There were others there who missed the pic! Jaume Ortiz, Dani Alfonsea, Hardy Tempest, also Alan Ball was about, and Einion.....

Obviously not all of us got the shirts........it's a shame Dani missed the pic 'cos his shirts were OUTSTANDING!

Rob

As for who won the shirt contest, it's a no-brainer.

The name of the winner will be revealed soon. Watch this space.

Hello Fellows,

What amazing the saturday was. It is the first time that i was at Euro and met you guys,
Drink some beers with John, have a nice talk with robin. And sorry Hardy that i thought you where an old guy, but the beer was working into my brain.

What a competition. I think the jury never get the good figure as winner, because to me when you compete here your a winner.
What a lot to learn.

I just bought one figure by Robin, a 95th rifle brigade officer. Those buys off stormtroopers have really nice figures.

I made some picture's also but my PC harddisk is dead. So now i 'am at work and gotta look.

Quang, i've seen your masterpiece. My mind is still strugling, its gonna be a Fender Strat or your latest masterpiece.
What a guy.

See you all next year.

About that picture of the shirt contest winner, I seem to recall that the shirt he wore on the saturday was pretty loud too ! ;)

And that's Jaume on the right (the man in black), isn't it ? ;)

thanks for sharing guy.
They are a lot better picture's then mine.
I've seen Gino on one of them.
You see Guy, it is worth it to come over next year with some of the guys of the PF from the other side of the ocean.
I get visions of the PF members sitting at the bar.
