So, whilst I have no decent work bench nor lights to paint, I've kept the brushes wet with something that doesn't need much space, and can cope with being put into boxes away repeatedly. After all, these little bundles of joy are meant to be handled, and carted about in boxes a lot.
I'm not really into Warhammer, or the tabletop gaming, but I like painting some of the baddies, all dark and grimey, what's not to like.
I picked up a small "starter army" on the bay of evil the other day, there's five horseman, 20 odd warriors (foot soldiers), and 10 wolves. All a player would need is one or two big figures, and it's a battle ready army., I just like to paint them, and probably try to sell them when I finish them.
These are two of the horsemen I've worked on to decide on my colour scheme for this army. The Black Knights wear .... you guessed it, black armour. The shields, banners, and horse armour, are Ork Skin Green contrast paint over a light grey or white base.
These two just need the base finishing of, I've started the other three yesterday, using my new Hawk Miniature brushes.
