Good day to all.

I have recently started this new project.
The horse is from the Fabrice Eisenbach range, the guy will be from Metal Modeles and the kettledrums are from Historex.
A good amount of scratch will be necessary: harness, feathers, saddle, ornaments, etc.

Your comments / suggestions are welcome.

An excellent start. I think I saw your "Canaries" officer horse and Routsam figure at Montrouge on the Briquet stand so as well as looking forward to seeing this developing I'm looking forward to seeing the others completed. Hope you're the same Paul.

Cheers

Shame I saw only two older gentlemen there when I passed - I bought two copies of the Briquet though: Maurcie de Tascher and the one about ADCs. The next stand was the find if the decade as I managed get duplicates of the 1978 edition of all the Rousselot plates concerning Cuirassiers and Hussar officers as my version are a bit worn through use, honestly I prefer these to the books published in recent years.

I think I will be heading your direction this summer as I need to look at a couple of items at the amuse de l'emperi following a conversation with Bruno Leibowitz.

Hopefully I will be at Montrouge again and we can hook up..

Cheers

I'm intrigued to see this progress Paul-I have a constant wrestle with how to paint the horse with all of the bridles etc in place.

Looking good Paul, good idea to use MM buckles on the head harness , must try one of these Eisenbach horses.

Ron

PS I am just going to rename you Ney the bravest of the brave when it comes to chopping up MM figures :D
