Hi Everyone!

I've taken a forced sabbatical from figure painting the last couple of years due to a developing cataract. I have had the surgury and had started working again as I was able to see in stereo again :)

The I had a problem with angina which rapidly developed and on the 2nd of this month I had an angiogram and 9 days later a Stent fitted via my right femoral artery.

so things have been a bit random!!

A couple of days after my eye op I started on this 75mm figure from Troop 54 and had it finished in about 4 weeks, not my best work but a good start I felt.

After that I painted up a Dragon 1/16th figure that had been sitting on my bench for a few years, I stalled it at this point as I need to chop up a 1/16th Trumpeter t34 to make a backdrop but thats another story :)

Then I decided after my angina diagnosis to go back to basics and work up a plastic kit with a minor conversion, Tamiyas MG Gunner with the origional head from the dragon Kharkov figure....

This is where I'm at with this....

I don't think I'll be doing any SBS stuff anytime soon but I'll post up any thing I finish :)

Dude - those are really nice. :)
Hopefully with two working eyes and a refurbished ticker you'll be churning them out again in no time (y)
Cheers

Richard.

So good to have you back Mark.
Glad to hear your slowly getting there, your imposed sabbatical hasn't dulled your ability with a brush.
All the best mate,
Carl.(y)

Good stuff Mark!

Great to see you back at it, I always looked forward to seeing new work from you!...I thought you may have gone over to facebook or something full time when I hadn't seen you around for a long while.

Cheer's,
