Hi Gents,

This is my first completed piece for 2012 ! a commission of Knight Models 70mm Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars original trilogy as he appeared in The Empire Strikes Back.

I have to mention the sculpt and likeness to Luke is awesome ...:awesome:

I have upped the contrast a little and painted up the kit supplied base just adding a few tree roots and dried leaves.

Again painted in oils and enamels.

Many thanks

Carl

Sorry for the terrible images again,I still cannot get to grips with lighting cameras and pc's

(((LOL))) You know me I do like painting the german stuff !!

But this has been a good change for me and learnt alot from doing them... to be honest historical stuff seems a bit dull in comparison for me at the min ! need some time to adjust again !

Plus Im a big Star Wars fan :D

Thanks for the feadback bud

I bet you could feel the brush itching to do "peadot".
I forgot to ask, how did you do the sabre reflection?
Carl.

Carl B either peadot or oakleaf bud  ... the light reflection was done in oil paint also, wet on dry.I used many layers of filters a bit like you use acrylics and built it up slowly... altering the tones also with each layer.

David great feadback thanks mate :)

Nick hows it going brotha ?!! thanks for dropping in ! I will never get away from the german stuff eh ?!! (((LOL))) :ROFLMAO: thanks for the great feadback mate... eh I did add snow to Chewbacca !! eastern front stylee
Hope to see you soon boyo
