WIP Critique La Hire - Battle of Patay 1429

Hi all,

This is my take, so far, on La Hire by Young Miniature's.
This has been a really nice face to paint. I have airbrushed using acrylics and have added fine detail with a brush. I am now on to the armour but am having metallic paint overload as there is so much to do.

Please feel free to leave any comments - good or bad.

Looks great. Flesh tones look awesome..maybe darken the shadows of the beard perhaps?

I agree with Grant. Fleshtones are great but the beard could use some more contrast.

I have got to get this bust. Everytime I see a WIP or a finished work of La Hire, I reach for the credit card. Your face looks great so far, I like the tones of the skin around the eyes, seems to take it from the usual jovial linesmen to a serious warrior.
