ok. Here's a real Lounge entry. Many, many years ago, I remember seeing a painting depicting a lacrosse game, in the 17 or 1800's, between an American Indian tribe and a group of Scotsmen in kilts. Unfortunately, I don't remember the artist's name or where I saw the painting. Was a long time ago.

Since I like anything early American history and my young grandson is a budding lacrosse star, and with Christmas right around the corner, I'd really like to buy him a copy of the painting, if possible, for a Christmas present.

I did a Bing search, found some other American Indian lacrosse possibilities, but not the specific painting I'm looking for.

Might this ring a bell with anyone? Or was this a figment of some artificially induced inducement from a misspent youth?

Thank you

Can't help you source one unfortunately, but now you mention it I seem to recall seeing something like that once, so I don't think you've imagined it.

Don't recall the illustration....but here's something that might be of interest

Thank you, guys, for the help. I can still sorta picture the painting, but can't quite remember exactly where I saw it.

On the other hand, if I can find that Altores figure, I could have it ready by his birthday in August. (I'm a slow painter.)

Thanks again.

Interesting that Lacrosse became the mainstay of English Girls' Public and Private schools!".
