Guy, I turn my back for a couple days and look what you do! It's coming together nicely! I'll have to come over and give it my final approval in person of course! I need to punch that button a couple times myself! HE HE HE

Hi Guy,

I can only echo the others (y) . Your beautiful work shows that you love the subject.

GREAT!

Johan ;)

Great work so far Guy. I really love your native american flesh tones. The horse looks very good too. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks for the vote of confidance Marc. Yes.....there still is alot of work to do yet on this figure. Hopefully another week will see the end.

Thanks for the feedback Bruno, Arthur and Gary.

Gary - this one definetly needs the EASY button. I wish it were that simple sometimes......just press the button.

;) Looks terrific Guy. Once again, you have me looking at by brushes with envy. Are you for buckskin pinto for the horse? If so an intersting and not often represented in todays painting. there actually quite a few around. I have seen some hand colored tin types showing (badly I might add) your color combinaiton. I would very greatful if you coudl do a short sbs on colors for the horse. As usual the skin tone on the brave are very realistic. Great job. James

Thanks James for the feedback. I have another Pinto horse comming up and I will do more of an sbs on the colors.

Here the war paint has been added to the rump of the horse indicating hail.

Looks good Guy. Now where are those feathers? ;) You think I have a lot of patience with my nappies? I don't paint Indians and everything that goes with them

Keep it up,
Jim Patrick

Its been about 10 days since I have posted any progress with the Sioux and recently after battling the flu I have been able to resume and m,ake some headway. The Warrior has been attached and the war paint added to face and chest. The sheild has been attached and will be finished next.

This is inspiring. It's educational for me to see progress and how you move a figure foward, so to speak, i nthe painting process.

Very nice.

Guy, Glad you're feeling better. The figure is looking really nice. I wonder to what extent did Native Americans paint their horses? I've seen various symbols painted on Indian mounts, but how often was the entire horse painted?~Gary
