Hey, Patrick...thought I'd drop in to see the completed base...a fantastic piece, thru-and-thru! What paints/brands did you use for the metallics?

Thanks a lot...really enjoyed this figger and learned even more!
I use a mixture of Sinnelar and Testors for the lace work...What I do is undercoat with an acrylic and then apply a real thin oil base of gold ochre and gold metalics with some English Distilled Spirits and Liquin. Once that is dry, I'll wash in some depth with the base and a lil Mars Orange. Once the whole figger is dry, I'll apply three or four coats of dull coat and then with Testor's enamels, I'll apply the highlights...
