I prefer more political history, philosophy vs uniforms...trying to understand the past..and the psychology of the times that give rise to where we are now...so the minutae of medals and uniforms hasn’t much for me..

I read the same magazines, had very similar experience w figurine..and am likewise into fantasy genre..new tricks...

For that then you'd want to take a look at Amazing Figure Modeler. No real miniatures, but lots Fantasy, Sci-Fi and horror, plus new tricks.

It's the "historical" that's a problem for me. I doubt they will have a lot of fantasy/science fiction in it?
