As I am aware that these films are far from documentaries it so funny to see all the research and rivet-counting going into the hardware, uniforms etc and nothing into a storyline that is not even loosely based on situations that really could have happened at that time.
Because these kind of historical fantasy films are made in increasing numbers I am afraid that one day people not just believe everything on Wikipedia but also everything on cinema.
