Hi guys - after a week without internet access I can at last get back on the web again! This is one of my latest pieces. I wanted to maintain the sombre brooding appearance of the original, but using a different pallette.
Painted in oils over acrylics.

Dave looks great but the photo is very dark!! Cannot see the colors realy!!!!!!!

Can we have some better ones?

OK, Here's a lighter pic. I like the effect of the other one, but it is a bit dark!

COol, I love that figure. One of my favorites. Great job on it. Your picures are a little jagged looking though.

The 'jagged' look on the pics is where the contrast was adjusted on PaintshopPro - I'm still learning on my new camera! This was orginally a 4MB TIFF file, so it's been greatly compressed and converted to JPEG before uploading, and that doesn't help the quality either.
