Sorry, I have problems with posting the other pictures and will try it another time.

Excellent work on the shading Mark. I took the front pic and lightened it and the shading you have done is really great on the tunic and shirt

Thanks for the kind comments, hope to finish it soon. I'm not yet sure what to give him to hold in the right hand. I don't like to use the sword supplied with the kit.

Guy, you are right, the photos came out a bit on the dark side.

Keith and Dave, I almost exclusively used Humbrols on that figure with some acrylics for the leather and metal/ mail parts.

Rafael, the shirt colour is a mixture of Humbrol Wine (73), Natural Wood (110) and white with a touch of black added to tone it down. Shadows are done with the same mixture adding more black. Highlights are mixed from wine, flesh and white. The mix is not my invention but taken from Mike Blank. Hope this helps.

Best wishes

Mark

Mark - I am totally blown away at the results from enamel that you got. These mixes look like what Mike Blank has used. (y) Really great to see.

Superb painting Mark.

I saw some of your figures at the AMSS show and they showed (as those this Viking) that you are among the best painters in the world. Thanks for sharing and giving me so much pleasure at looking atyour figures.

Greetz,

Gino

Looks great Mark and I'm sure the photos don't even do it justice. I really like how the helmet looks, it's done in acrylics?
