Hi All,
This is how I see Lieutenant Colonel Redvers Buller holding the rear guard action at the battle of Hlobane 1879, a battle in which he would win his V.C. Although another huge defeat for the Imperial forces months after Isandlwana.
Buller was well known for wearing his Norfolk jacket and I decided in the planning stage to have him wearing this with the slouch hat and pugree.
This version again is 54mm (1/30).
cheers

Beautiful figures Richie! :)

Cheers,
Ken

Hi Ken,
Thank you mate, my 3d sculptor Ariel has done a super job with the detail. This is a W.I.P. shot (the cocking lever indicator has now been turned to the correct position after a revision). But you can see the breech block is in the lowered position will the lever down.
cheers

I want one of these!

Excellent stuff.
As former RASC/RCT Officer when Buller Barracks in Aldershot was named after him! All demolished now of course. Homes not affordable to Army! Iconic memories od the originial Victorian Officers Mess , no plumbing!, jug of water wake-up calls. Riding before breakfast .. 1956 .... !
New Museum at Worthy Down near Winchester now. HQ of Royal Logistic Corps and many otheys crammed in the old Fleet Air Arm Grass airfield ..........
