Hello Mark, The shoulder boards and jacket look great. I like how you shaded the black. One observation Mark, the line above the bill of the cap is not piping, but is actually part of the cap and should be field gray. Regards, SG:)(y)(y)Peiper_Austria_apr1945_blue.jpg

ACHTUNG, ACHTUNG - I hate you Bennett:p , some of us are trying to paint our first bust and you come along with this:( , don't you think, for me, the gap to bridge is already a bridge too far! Well why don't you just nip over to monkeyville and kick me personally in the n**ts:blackeye: .

Right, now I've had my rant:mad: :angelic:.

Mark that is an outstanding piece of painting. Personally I think it's the best piece I have seen you paint to date and I don't say that lightly. He looks alive in the smaller photo, apt name Life Miniatures, I hope your German is good as he must have been talking to you.(y)
I hope he is going to the Sword & Lance would love to see in the flesh.
cheers
Richie
Where do we go from here??????????

No doubt about it, your brush work is top notch! I like how you depicted the binos cover as being made from scraps of cammo material.

Joe

Brilliant work as usual Mark.
I really like the Binos as Joe has said.

Chris

Hi Mark,

IMHO, this bust represnts a new "high water mark" for you. Your painting style seems to have become more subtle, your transitions and blending smoother and the overall effect is stunning. You should be very proud of this bust, it's a beauty.
