lighting sources

[Gauntlet]

I have been considering buying a natural light lamp made by Ottlite for painting. If anybody here uses one what is your opinion, are they really worth the money, are they really better to use for painting. Or should i stick to incadescent lighting.

thanks for the thread, after reading it it sounds like people are split 50/50 on the natural lite vs. incadescent. I'm going to go ahead and try the Ottlite if i don't like it i guess i can give it to the wife for growing indoor plants.

FWIW, I look at my work under as many different lights as possible: daylight, incadescent, fourescent, whatever. I find it easier to paint by daylight.
