Great progress Andrew. Lord Flasheart has to be one of my favourite Blackadder characters.

Thanks for your kind comment Tony.
Flashheart is one of the more memorable characters, particularly due to his infrequent appearances.
The title character standing belligerently in front to him would be just right.

Cheers,
Andrew

Plodding on with more oil over enamel for the gauntlets, followed by due application of a smallish make-up brush.
That just leaves the holster for similar treatment, once I'm sure today's oil is dry.
As I said yesterday, the collar badges have been started, and I've now made a start on the insignia and medal ribbons.

I had the feeling that I'd just about finished, took a photo, and found little flecks of brass (Darkstar acrylics) in unwanted places.
Tried cleaning them off, with minimal success. Then resorted to a pin in a pin vice (now I know the reason for the name).
A gentle touch with the pin detached the individual flecks, and a very dry brush removed them from sight. No doubt I'll find more.
Apart from the odd touch-up that I'm bound to find necessary, it's finished, bar fitting the head and putting him on the waiting plinth.

This is looking very nice Andrew. Love the leather jacket(funny how things sometimes work out for the best when we think we’ve messed up) and great khaki colour. Looking forward to seeing this finished as I have it in the grey army.

Thank you Neal.
It's not the first one this way, but this one has worked out the best, by far.
Nothing special about the khaki. It's just Humbrol 26 (khaki, matt) with minor additions for shadow and highlight.

Cheers,
Andrew

P.S. The finished bust can be found HERE.
