Fantastic work. One of the hardest things to get right with hussar dress is the way that a slung pelisse hangs. It's quite a heavy garment and often we see them lying at all sorts of crazy gravity-defying angles. You have got it spot-on though, very well done. I raise my bicorne in your general direction.

This is a lesson to us all in painting and - for those of us able to (which I'm not) - sculpting. Full marks, Colin.

Another masterpiece.

Jeff

Incredible painting as others have said, the flesh tones are brilliant! The sculpting is amazing and the details are insane!
Very close likeness to the painting as well, not an easy thing to achieve :)

Slainte,

Andy

It's been a real pleasure watching this develop in your w.i.p. posts Colin.
The detail you've incorporated is outstanding.
And then the painting, which has brought the sculpt to life.

Cheers,
Andrew

Colin,
Again excellent work. I'm glad you stuck with it! It is a masterpiece! Love the lace, naturally. Hope to see in person in Chicago.

Best Regards,

Rod

An absolute stunner of a bust, Colin (y)
It's an amazing and enviable skill you have, to be able to sculpt your own figures on whatever subject tickles your fancy.
Again, truly awesome. Well done.
