Man this is some really great detail once again Dave. Sorry I've been off the site, been doing some 1:1 scale building and quite a bit more to follow. This is really coming along sweet like!! I promise to keep up now Bro.

Cheers, Ski.

Hey great to hear from you Steve.

I have been missing your encouraging and often humorous posts! Look forward to hearing more from you pal.

Dave

Looking the business as usual Dave. I love getting down to detail, as you saw in my Porsche build, so right there with you mate. Great presentation as always and look forward to next update.

Cheers

Ron

Hi Ron and thanks for your comments.

That Porsche was a stunning bild mate, it really was amazing attention to detail so glad you can appreciate the royal pain in the a**e it is getting some of this stuff done!

I have now got the engine to about 95% complete with just a few tiny additions and some tidying up to sort out plus the primer and eventual painting!

The pics below highlight the increase in size of the cover on the mounting frame and you can also see how I have improved the fan intake and added a back plate to the cowl plus all the various hoses etc:-

Yep, that engine is dialed in. The coiled copper and fittings, etc really add the touch. Nothin but detail, nothin but detail,......and there you have it! this is looking like another one for the books Dave!

Cheers, Ski.

Hi Dave, oh the joys of scratching eh. I have a huge stock of wires, cables, hoses and the like left over from the Porsche mate, let me know if you need anything. Got a lot of very small heat shrink as well. Feel free to ask.

Cheers

Ron

Ok so I have now completed the interior cockpit and primed her up. The Cannons are also now done with a tad of cleaning up. The pics below show how much more detail has been added (it was bloomin difficult!) and I have test fitted it all together just need to sort out the cleaning etc before another coat of primer.

Amazing job. Not my subject of interest, but am amazed at the detail and planning that has gone into this project. You must have a Me109 engine in your garage!!:D
