Jesus, glad to see you back and even better to see your finished work. I was really eyeballing this figure at World Expo (there were several painted entries there) but I didn't buy it. Too bad. I haven't progressed on my Mamelouke at all :( . Very nice work. I like how all the colors tie into one another. Not as easy as it appears. Now that we have you back, stay here, don't get lost again ( ) and show us what's next for you.

Thanks guys. The rider has a lot of diferent colors and the blue is dificult to match with red or

orange. Cold and hot colors. The last hightlights were made with the same colour (Titanium white) for

all colors and thanks to that it is posible to get armonic tones each others.
Jim I have chosen the uniform colors thanks to your pictures you sent me. You will have to decide your

colors as well for your mameluke. (y)
James about the mixture for acrilics and oils i don't use any personal technique. It has been described

in others messages.
Basically I primed the figure with Spray (Citadel), After that I use the acrilics choosing the color as

similar as the final color. After it has dried I aply a base oil color and followly first light and

first shadow. After 24 hours +- I aply the last lights and shadows.
James I don't know if I have clarified you something or maybe it was worse. Anyway ask me if you wanna

know anything more and I'll try to tell you.
My next figure will be a Lancer 17th Regiment Crimea 1854 and I'll ttry to show you a sbs.

Hello Jesus

You have done a great job with this figure. The figure is very nice painted.
I am now try to paint a horse of a project I am working on so I will try to
use your horse as example for my work.
I admire your work alot. So I hope it will be like yours but I don't think it will be
the same hahaha.
Looking forward to see more of your work.

Very nicely done there Jesus. I really like you painting. I also work with oils and you did great with this one. This figure is an excellent piece and a nice painting really picks it up.
