I generally use Citadel skull white spray primer, then do a first approach of final tonalities in acrylic, especially for large portions, like the trousers. For the face, I paint with oils directly on the white primer coat.

This figure is much more difficult than it looks at first glance.

You're doing a fine old job there so far. I look forward to seeing the progress.

Take the necessary time for this, it will be a real gem.

C'est manifique. I love your work and the epoch which is my favorite. How did you get the oil paint on thr trousers to 'flatten out'? I love Bruno's work which I think is generally as good as there is.
