Great work on the tattoos Brian. Well done.
I'm absolutely gobsmacked how this has developped. First-class painting. Can't wait to see the final result.

That turned out great! Congrats on a job well done (almost...)!

You gotta be proud of this Brian.
Minor suggestion mate would be to lighten white tips of feathers help frame this warrior.
Well done mate!

Hi Brian
My thought is a little more fading and highlights on chin but overall very minimal work needed
You've done a great SBS here and it's been fun to follow ...all credit to you
Once your happy do share the next on the bench
Happy benchtime

It is because of works like this that I like miniature painting so much...art in capital letters.
Special mention to the tattoo on the face.
Santi.
Looks good to me though extra fading on Ta Moko would help blend it more into face Brian.A shot from a distance to gauge whether the moko is too stark or whether it could use a bit more fading before I dullcoat him; opinions welcome!

Ref Dullcote - I do like the soft sheen on flesh vs cloak mate.
Is it necessary?

I'm not sure I could add anything, but awesome! Superb brush work, Buddy!
This is so realistic, it's spooky, IMHO. I think the eyes tend to draw you into that facial expression, very well done.
Thanks, Nap - was kinda bugged by that chin - will give it a bit of a fade.
Thanks for the kind comments as well - it's been a challenging but enjoyable project. Hope it made a good project to follow along with.
Cheers,
Brian
