This is an old EVD metal figure (listed as 70mm), but a recent acquisition to my GA.
I bought it purely for its simple pose and to try my hand at painting some heraldry.
Mathias Corvinus was king of Hungary during the second half of the 15th Century. For anyone interested, you can read his history here:-

I was interested to read that he had Vlad Tepes (Dracula) imprisoned on some trumped-up charges.
Much of the figure was painted in acrylics (and Darkstar Molten Metals for the armour), but I reverted to oils over enamels for the clothing and Printer's ink for the chain around his neck.
Needless to say, once I looked at the photos, it was obvious that a few corrections are required.
Hope you like it.
Cheers,
Andrew
