Another AMAZING paint job from Mike, I don't know how he does it!? The detail is fantastic. He just gets better and better.
...some other examples of Mike's incredible work for Model Cellar

The ANZAC bust:

Thanks for the opportunity Paul.
Only two sleeve badges, bipod & base left to do.
Then final photos for you to confirm before I box him up & send.
A really neat project, so glad you had the patience for me to do it.

Yes almost all acrylics though a dash of oil thrown in to help depict metals.
Look forward to doing some of your little ModelCellar lads one day too.

Thanks Keith, one advantage of this quick snapshot approach is you not only get to see parts coming alive with paint, you also have chance to see minor detail quite often missed in completed views.
Brilliant painting Mike. Top shelf!! Good to see your work on the Forum again.
I will be across in NZ (Whitianga) in April. Hopefully we can catch up. Chris
Always grateful for your response Chris. As always honoured to have you visit.
Name dates & will see if we can sort it.
I must have missed this on FB, hanging my head in shame.
Absolutely amazing painting, every bit of kit looks real. Top notch.
Hey no matter Bob, it can happen with Facebook as things can quickly be lost in your Timline there.
PF has longer resonance time for articles & shares I find.
Still FB good place to quickly share & get feedback on progress.
For those who haven't connected with me there yet.
I'm there @ http://www.facebook.com/michaeljbutlerNZ
