Just finished another for David Allen's Wings Cockpit range.
This time Przemyslaw Szymczyk's sculpted a late war USAAF bomber pilot in body armour and flak helmet.

What do you reckon?

Always a fan of Wings figures. Top notch paintjob for a top notch figure.

Whats with the cloud effect on the goggles at different angles?

Excellent painting. The figure has a bit of a sci-fi look about him.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting.
Yep & know what you mean "Sci-Fi" thought he looked like something out of Robocop :)
This was armour which increased likelihood of survival by ~40% so not only looked out there but was also effective.

Stay safe

Thank you to both of you Mr Ralph & Zeno.
An enjoyable project that offered chance to do some research into interesting period.
Recommend checking out latest Spielberg mini series on these guys

Gives a real feel for why the armour was necessary, plus a parachute!

Stay safe,
Mike

Hi "Pilgrim" (feel like Clint ;-)

Thanks for comments.
Ref "cloud effect" just tried to capture a grey day reflection in the lens.
Not sure it came off, maybe more luck next time.

Stay safe
