Mike, thanks for the work in progress and finished images. Stunning work. I would end up cross eyed. I admit I have copied the process you go through in painting clothing and have mixed results, some ended in the Dettol bath.
Good to hear your practicing Bob.
I do have moments I’d rather forget,
however one of benefits of acrylics is you can layer improvement over top without washing it all off.
I recon if I wasn't asleep at the wheel I would have seen these earlier. Beautiful work Mike, beauty, and in 1/35th scale, ta boot!
Cheers, Ski.
Great painting on these top sculpts.
Very natural poses.

Thanks Steve & Gordon - shame in someways to have to move onto another scale.
Feel like I’m getting hang of these guys & been very productive with them.
Now you got me jumping up and down with excitement, looking forward to seeing that:D! Joe
It’s proved challenging get into this latest project.
Unfamiliar territory, some filling & fixing too.
Plus other life priorities intruding.
Got start of base coat on & will see how it goes this week.
Thanks for support - catch you all next month :)

Nope, only defrosted it Bob!

Totally understand this "...oh crap..." moment Hopper.
Personally I find this with every face, especially as I try to capture what's in my minds eye on the project in hand.
Everyone of my fellows has a name, this is a personality I'm trying to represent.
So to break through this moment, I remind myself to 'trust the process', keep working on until a smile or twinkle in eye appears :)
With that I can feel like I'm going in right direction.
Then the next challenge is to know when to stop!
Thanks for probing our thinking here.
Make sense to anyone else?
-Mike

This is so true.. ;)
