Here's mine. Painted with oils.
Using thin glazes of Burnt Umber I've started building up the shaded areas of the face, when it has dried I'll continue the process into the deepest shadow areas.
The iris will be tidied up when what has already been done has dried. I also added a glaze of Venetian Red + White between the shaded and highlighted areas to tie them together.

The armour and mail has got a preliminary coat of Cold Grey.

Are you using acrylics or oils Steve?

Roger.

Oils over acrylics I always struggle with highlights/shadows doubly so on flats I'll add some more burnt umber
Steve

Here's where I am now (still wet) I may now have over done it  not sure it might (hopefully) settle down a bit

It's a job to see through the reflection of the wet paint Steve but I looked at it in super dooper size and for me it looks pretty special.
Press on Mate I think you are on the right side of bloody good.
Cheers,
Keith

Steve, while you're waiting for the face to dry put a couple of coats of your basecoat on for the armour. I'm using Cold Grey oil but you use what you like, oil, acrylic, metallic, it's the placing of the shade and light that matters later.

Roger.
