As ever Brian you bring real atmosphere and 'theatre' to your projects.
Few people can create a sense of action, time and place with a single figure as well as you.
Looking forward to seeing your 'stuff' at Euro it always gets me thinking about upping my own game.
Cheers
Derek

Hi del, hope your keeping well mate, many thanks for your continued support and kind coments, tea searching and adding something different to each project is just as much fun as painting the subject,it's something I'm really enjoying,I'm 53 now so I need to keep my mind active, look forward to seeing you and the gang at euro mate, will it be the Chinease eat what you want again on the Friday night?

Holy Cow, Brian. . . and Whoa, Nellie:
Whew, blow my socks off. What a incredible presentation.
Such an artistic and creative mind you have. What really blows
me away is that this piece is so busy, there is so much eye
candy, yet the viewer never loses contact with the main part
of the most intricate composition, the figure. Me thinks this
kind of artistry is not easy to do. This is a very complicated
piece. Yet it reads so wonderfully! :)
Sir, you are very talented. For me, another great example
of raising this hobby to an art form! Congratulations.
The Miami Jayhawker

Many thanks my friend for your continued support for my work, your kind words mean alot, researching the subject and coming up with ideas is a side to the hobby I really enjoy now, it's great when all the elements come together and people enjoy the result,I'm very glad you liked it,:)

wow...WOW...WOW...WOW !!! What a beautiful piece of art! That is great composition and the entire ensemble is something to stare at forever, picking out details.

VERY nice! Beautifully executed!

Kevin

Many thanks Kevin for your kind coments,I'm glad you liked it mate :)

Very inventive as usual Brian(y) was that a burr you covered up  nice Smudger reds and blues al in the best possible taste .

Beware greeks bearing gifts Father Jack is buttering you up for more MD

Ron

Hi Ron,good to hear from you, many thanks for your continued support and kind coments, yes it was the burr but this is a one off,it came out ok but I don't have any plans on doing it again,I just thought it fitted the period.

As the great Kenny Everitt would say All In the best possible taste,I like blues and reds,I thought I could manage the red a little better,I may have to do so final touch ups to the jacket.

Hope the baby is doing ok,shame I won't see you at Folkestone,I'll have a wee tipple in your honour :)

Another great piece Brian look forward to seeing this at Euro and having a chat on Saturday evening .......Keith

Many thanks Keith for your kind coments and support, looking forward to Folkestone now and meeting up again, won't be long now mate, are you with Steve again on the SK stand ?

Hi Dave, many thanks for those kind coments,I'm glad you liked it.

As for my avatar that's my cat Smokey,I would love to wake him up but sadly I had to have him put to sleep in August after 14 years,it's been difficult letting go for me so I just thought I'd change my avatar,I'll probably change it again when things become easier.

Absolutely(y). Will be refreshing ourselves at the Southcliff around about 3pm:).

Del, I might still be traveling down then, may have to get my head down for a couple of hours, hopefully I'll catch up with you on the balcony again like last year,I'll ring you nearer the time anyway mate :)

Not to much that I can add to the above Brian.
I am always amazed at how much fine detail you put into these pieces of art.
Aside from an awesome dio, I must congratulate and thank you for your excellent preamble. You have put so many great pointers here that other books seem unable to get across in a few hundred pages.
All power to your elbow.
Thank you for posting and all the very best,
Keith

Many thanks Keith for your very kind coments,I do like to do as much to a figure as I can mate,it's part of the excitement for me as well as the researching,I'm always looking to go that extra yard, unfortunately keith you seem to find that now with certain books, they just don't offer the modeller the information they require, when I became serious with figures in the 80s there was good books and magazines, the books I still have and still refer to for reference and guidance.

Again many thanks mate,I'm glad you enjoyed it,:)
