Bunker Miniatures Monk. I've deliberately aimed to portray a man that has not been outside for a long time, and has partaken of too much rich food and wine - the stereotypical medieval monk! (the pinks do not look as vivid in real life - they are exagerated by the camera!)

Looking for critique here. Did I acheive the effect that I wanted, or do I strip the paint and start again..........

I would try and blend the shadows a bit, and add some extreme highlights. I think stripping it would be going a bit to far Dave.

Unfortunately the paint has already dried too much to be blended more, to change anything will need a repaint or at least some thinners on the brush that could then damage the surface. I may try next weekend, as I won't get any time in daylight before then !

Dave , is it possible to film it under a different light to get a different read on the hues?

I take it that you've used oils Dave. You can still glaze the edges to lose the stark transition Dvae.

True, that would be another way round it.......thanks Carl; and yes, it's oils.
