Both my parents died just under five years ago. It is a tough time. It is a cliché, but true, that grief is the true price of love, the greater the love, the greater the grief. You will come through this and at some time in the future, your memories will turn from the sad times, to the happy times.

My condolences to you and your family,

Mike

Thank you so much for the kind words Mike, they mean so much to me.

Sorry to hear the news Ralph something we all have to deal with as we get older, the pain lessens with time but the good times never diminish my friend.

My dad died almost 30 years ago and I still think of him daily, when I am on the computer or in the car, wondering what he would think of all the technology. The body has gone but the spirit remains.

Take care Ralph

Thanks for the kind words of support Brian.
It's a hard thing to deal with but I am coping.
I never saw my Dad a lot these last few years as he moved to Lincoln so that my brother could keep an eye on him, however we did speak on the phone a couple of times a week and that is what I'm going to miss most of all.
All the best.
Ralph.
