Ivo,

It was a pleasure meeting you at MFCA. Thanks for all of the insight on painting the equine! I look forward to seeing you again next year.

Great displays!

Mike

Beautiful display! :woot: Congratulations!
One question: I hit the piece of Marc Couttelenc, wearing that uniform?

Andrea

Beautiful work, Ivo! It was a pleasure to see these pieces in person at the show this past weekend.

Kurt

To echo Kurt, it was great to see your work in person after watching on the web for years. It certainly didn't disappoint! Stunning!

Bob

Beautiful pieces, Ivo! I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person and put a name and a face together, but I'm sure we may have bumped into one another. I really like Couttelenc the best, too. I think it's his expression that sets him apart.

Hopefully next year, we'll get to meet in person!

Prost!
Brad

Hi Ivo,
Beautiful displays. But Colbert was already dead when Napoleon fight at Waterloo.
Just a minor detail.
Nothing to do with the quality of the painted figures.
:)

hi Yoshi

no, this Colbert lead the charge of the reds at Waterloo, you are confusing him with his brother Auguste that was killed in Spain in 1809. There were three Colbert brothers all in the army and all general

Auguste, the youngest killed in 1809
Alphonse that spent part of his career in Naples with Murat
Pierre David Edouard that was wounded the day before Waterloo and leads the charge with his arm blocked
