Dear Planeteers
If not a figure or bust will appear in the coming months, that I want absolutely to have, then this project will be my next ...:
I'll paint myself as a figure.
As you know, I'm looking for some time for the possibilities of 3-D-pressure in figure hobby.
Since some time, a great electronic Discounter in Germany offer the possibility to photograph one and then get a 3-D can "print" order.
The standards offered ranges are from 10 cm to 35 cm ...:
Technically is the matter this way:
One imagines a gazebo and is simultaneously photographed by 70 cameras ...
... and then the data in a work "printed" as colored 3-D character. Of course you can be making multiple photos to one like the result.
The information is stored so that you can at any time later - about when the character gets printed.
The whole has a delivery time of up to six weeks and is - still! - relative expensive.
As the discounter in early March launched an Easter Rebattaktion, I could not resist and got my picture and leave 150 mm figure "print".
From the result, I was pleasantly surprised ...:
The "painting" ( unpainted can the figures not be ordered!) is of course a "factory-paint" - so my wife immediately said: "The eyes are sh ...!".
And my project will now be to refine this painting as much as possible.
I will start next autumn ...
