Naked Army 1:6 scale Australian Special Air Service Vietnam Bust

Mine arrived this week and this review can be read complementary to Tony Dawes build over on the WIP forum

The kit comes in a smaller version of the Naked Army box and as with all Naked Army figures, is extremely well packaged in custom fit styrofoam and bubble wrap. The kit consists of a main torso, weapon with hand attached, 2 water bottles and a utility pouch with smoke grenade attached. Also generously included is a plinth and rod on which to to mount the figure and a small colour guide for the weapon and ERDL camouflage (Tiger Stripe is another option as both were worn by SASR patrols in SVN).

The fit of parts is excellent and the bust goes together with the minimum of fuss. Casting and detail are of the usual Naked Army high standard, with the individualism of the SASR soldier in his choice of kit showing . Even unpainted it is a great looking kit.

Overall fantastic value for money, a great starter kit for those who may have been daunted by these larger figures and lets hope Naked Army keep the busts coming. Highly recommended!!!! Kit can be ordered directly from Naked Army at:
